Level 1: Getting started

What this might look like for you:

• you have little or no data about your audiences but you want to find out more about who is using your services
• you want to develop a project and/ or make a grant application and you need information about your audiences and potential audiences to support your application
• you want to put together a new exhibition / event and need to know more about the audiences

Suggested activity:

• Start to collect basic data collection about your in-person and virtual visitors.
• Ensure the data you collect is GDPR compliant
• Look at what other sources of information are available to help you understand your potential and current visitors
• Analyse data and use it to support the development of projects and to support funding applications

You can either work through the sections or dip in and out as you need to.
