Developing partnerships with the business community
From Our Toolkit
Building partnerships with your local business community can be an effective way to promote mutally beneficial commercial services and products. Partnership working is often looked upon favourably by funders. Working with business can also bring in new ways of working for heritage organisations.
Shared Enterprise have produced Building Effective Relationships and Partnerships with the Business Community which outlines how to build productive partnerships and includes case studies from their pilot project.
For Northern Ireland:
Northern Ireland Museums Council have produced the Museums and Creative Industries toolkit to encourage greater partnership working.
