From Our Toolkit
The scheduling of volunteers is time consuming, and if you have large numbers of volunteers it can get complicated.
South East Museum Development has compiled a list of Software to help with rotas which includes suggestions of available software options as well as a link to the Sheffield Volunteer Centre who have some useful advice on how to use Google Calendar. They also have further links and suggestions of software options.
Cambridge Council for Voluntary Service has a useful breakdown of the common features of Volunteer Management Systems, as well a link to Track it Forward’s step-by-step guide to how to Use Google Forms and Spreadsheets to Track Volunteer Time.
