Special educational needs
From Our Toolkit
Interested in extending what you offer for schools, providing learning activities for tailored to the needs of special school pupils is another way of doing this. To make sure your activities are accessible and inclusive for a range of different needs it is useful to work in partnership with a special school using their expertise to help develop the resources.
- GEM’s Access & Inclusion case studies provide a range of examples of good practice of working with special schools.
- South East Museum Development’s Special Schools and Museums Toolkit gives advice and information on developing and delivering activities and resources.
