The Keep Fit Association celebrate their community

The Keep Fit Association is proud to be part of National Sporting Heritage Day on 30 September 2023.

Our organisation has been in existence for over 65 years, as a national association, and started much earlier in our 9 regional Associations, as we embarked on our Keep Fit adventure.

Throughout that time, we have dedicated ourselves to the provision of safe and effective movement and dance based on Rudolf Laban’s principles. Our classes provide holistic fitness through creative choreography, and we are proud of all our expertly trained teachers who unleash their creativity every week in Keep Fit Laban Dance Fitness and Sit & Stay Fit classes across the country.

Keep Fit Association links with Laban started in 1962 when we adopted his principles into our training policy and since then we have enjoyed national recognition for our excellent training and continuing professional development.

Our dance and movement gives joy to people, moving together, connecting with communities through our local classes and joining up to celebrate our movement festivals.

We are thrilled to be celebrating National Sporting Heritage Day on the same day we are holding our national get-together. Bringing our many members, from across the country together to move, smile, laugh and be part of our amazing Keep Fit community.
