Kennington Cricket Club is located just outside Ashford (Kent). We first played in 1839 and were constituted as a formal club in 1882.

Our archive dates back to the 1880s with the original rule book. We have an large collection of fixture cards, minutes, newspaper cuttings, score books (complete from 1949) and an extensive collection of photographs, the earliest from the 1890s.

There is also a club history written by Dr Peter Grant FRHistS, with a foreword by the late Colin Cowdrey.
