In this episode as part of the Ignored Heritage pilot project, project lead Kristopher Mckie is joined by Ole Jensen, producer of the film ‘Millwall Black and White’ (Dir: Chris Haydon), and one of the stars of and contributors to the film, Ron Bell.
Ole, who works at The Open University and researches issues related to diversity, talks about his reasons for producing the film and how he went about working through a community organisation, Bede House, to help gain the trust of fans and encourage them to open up to him about their experiences of racism and tackling it in large part by placing the club at the heart of their community.
