The Falconry Heritage Trust
The Falconry Heritage Trust is a charity organisation, registered in the UK in 2005. Our main task is to set up a virtual museum on falconry history and heritage in all 90 countries over the world where falconry (hawking) was spread in the past or exists now.
We don’t collect physical artefacts – only images of them. We have a big database on our website: with more than 9000 artefacts. This includes the biggest digital library of falconry journals, magazines and newsletters in the world. We also have a video project with recordings of the most famous and oldest falconers in many countries of the world.
Since we are based in the UK, in Carmarthen, South-West Wales, we a big portion of our database os dedicated to Britain. Access to the database is free and open to everyone.
