Cardiff City FC Museum
The Cardiff City FC Museum is developing a community-led collection celebrating the rich history and cultural impact of Cardiff City Football Club.
Our holdings include a growing range of match-worn shirts, programmes, tickets, medals, photographs, press clippings, fan memorabilia, and personal stories generously donated by supporters, former players, and staff. Together, these items trace the club’s journey from its early days in the 19th century to its role as a defining part of Cardiff’s social and sporting identity.
The collection is currently being catalogued using Modes Complete, ensuring professional documentation, preservation, and accessibility. It is housed within a dedicated museum store at Cardiff City Stadium, with future plans for digital access and public exhibition.
The project, Remembering the Past, Preserving the Future, is delivered in partnership with the Cardiff City FC Community Foundation and aims to create a living archive shaped by the community — celebrating not only the sport itself, but also the people, places, and shared memories that define the Bluebirds’ story.
