The Welsh Football Collection was established in Wrexham, the birth place of Welsh Football, following the award of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant in 2000 to Wrexham County Borough Museum and Archive.

The collection focuses on the history of football in Wales, including objects and archival material relating to Wales’s national team, Welsh teams and Welsh football players. The collection is accessible to the public through temporary exhibitions held at Wrexham Museum, loans to other museums, and by arranging a visit to our museum collections centre.

Please be aware the collection is not on permanent display.
