Glamorgan County Cricket Club

Glamorgan CCC hosts “The CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket”, which is the only sports-specific Museum in Wales and celebrates the long and proud heritage of cricket in the Principality. Opened fully in 2013, the Museum traces how the game has evolved in Wales since the 1770s, besides using modern technology including plasma screens, film loops and an interactive batting game called Batio in helping visitors of all ages to understand more about, as well as enjoying, the story of the summer game in Wales.

The displays in the Museum come from the core collection of Glamorgan CCC, as well as other items loaned by former players, Welsh cricket clubs and other individuals. The Museum was awarded the Kieran Hegarty Award for Innovation at the Celtic Media Festival in April 2014.
