Warwickshire County Record Office
Warwickshire County Record Office collects, preserves and provides access to documents recording the history of the county, its people and places. We hold many records in our collections relating to sports in the county including athletics, bowls, boxing, cricket, cycling, golf, motor sport, rowing and lawn tennis. Some of the main sporting collections we hold include:
- CR0816 – Hatton Tennis Club, 1925-1963;
- CR1798, CR2873 – Warwick Boat Club Ltd, 1867-1967;
- CR3264, etc. – Warwickshire Ladies’ County Golf Association, 1900-2014;
- CR4334 – Wootton Wawen: Athletic Club, 1919-1995;
- CR4386 – Leamington Football Club, 1977-2010;
- CR4726 – Warwickshire County Athletics Association, 1987-2009;
- CR4791 – Leamington Cycling and Athletics Club, 1921-2012;
- CR4804, etc. – Warwick Healey Motor Company, 1928-2005
