University of Liverpool Special Collections and Archives
The University Archives contain records of sports clubs and teams such as the University of Liverpool’s Athletics Club (Athletic Union) and also the records of the British Universities Sports Association (BUSA).
The Children’s Book collections contain nearly 700 19th-20th century volumes on the history of physical education, gymnastics and other sports from Archery to Yachting. Many are illustrated with contemporary photographs.
