Salford Red Devils Foundation

Salford Red Devils Foundation are the custodians of Salford Red Devils’ heritage collection which it maintains, preserves, and displays. The memorabilia and artefacts date back to 1873, and the collection contains medals, caps, trophies, programmes, books, photos and DVDs. We also maintain a great Salford Rugby League reference section.

Memorabilia on display

We presently have on display a moderate selection of memorabilia based in the Foundation offices at the A J Bell stadium. Members of the public are welcome to visit the museum during the hours of 10am-4pm Monday to Friday. Appointments are preferable, but we can generally facilitate visits. The Foundation are presently in the process of delivering a Heritage Project, Willows Memories. This will include a mobile museum, a memorial mosaic on the former Willows ground, and a heritage film and live show to be held at The Lowry Theatre in 2017.

A permanent museum

There are also plans for a large permanent Salford Red Devils Rugby League Museum. A proposed venue is currently under negotiation.
