In this webinar we explored the role of sport and art in the UK. Panelists included Professor Mike O’Mahony from the University of Bristol and expert in the visual culture of sport, Community Artist, Alastair Flindall, and Catherine Robins from Leeds Museums and Galleries, currently delivering a NLHF project putting sport and art into practice with local communities.

This was an exciting online event where we delved into the fascinating world of sporting heritage and its digitisation. We covered how the art of preserving sports history is being revolutionised in the digital age.

We were guided through a whole range of digitsation options and processes by experts Microform and The Ark Heritage.

Through captivating discussions and engaging presentations, we explored the ways in which technology and digitisation are transforming the way we document, archive, and celebrate sporting achievements. The event showcased the power of digital platforms in immortalising sporting legacies.
