Women's Rugby Resource, Key Stages 3 and 4
This flexible assembly resource for Key Stages 3 and 4 uses the story of two school friends, now Premiership Rugby stars at Worcester Warriors Women, Cara Brincat and Carys Cox to explore a series of themes in relation to the history and development of the women’s game.
A brief history of Women’s Rugby is provided by Dr Lydia Furse.
This presentation forms part of a wider suite of ‘School of Ruck’ learning resources produced in partnership with the World Rugby Museum, and accessible at https://worldrugbymuseum.com/education
As well as previewing the assembly presentation below, you can also download a Teacher’s Guide to accompany the resource.
Please contact our Education Lead, Derek Peaple at education@sportingheritage.org.uk if you have any queries or need alternative file formats.
