Homes of Football

The website holds a good proportion of my life’s work of photographs … so far. It’s perhaps just been a warm-up to what is to come in the 2nd 50 years period of my life. I will live until 100 if I am lucky.

The football subject dominates what I have done as it offers the best scenarios in which I can express myself, and say something about what I find around me.

I think we shouldalways be mindful that the World was here first and will possibly outlive the humans … so the section on “Cumbria” on my website becomes a setting where the human spirit is really tested in the context of a physical landscape. The entire website is indeed about ‘roots’.

Nothing, not even football exists in isolation. Hopefully by your looking at the entire website, you the audience will get a taste of what influences me and my art.
