The Sporting Heritage Community Grants respond to the needs of the sporting heritage sector. We have delivered similar activity over the last ten years, but we are delighted to be able to offer this round of grants with the generous support of the players of The National Lottery and Heritage Fund!
The aim of the grants is to provide much needed support to organisations wishing to begin or develop their sporting heritage activity. This could be the very beginnings of creating activity, partnerships, and ideas, to developing and delivering exhibitions, events and resources.
The grants are open to any applicant based in any one of the four UK home nations. For further information about the grant fund or how to apply:
This funding is specifically about supporting the development of the sector in whichever way you need it.

This webinar recording gives an overview of the grants process and provides time for prospective applicants to ask specific questions about their idea and if they are eligible to apply.
