We had a packed day of presentations, discussion and networking celebrating Irish sporting heritage at PRONI on 5th November 2024. We would like to thank the players of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, all our speakers and the team at PRONI for making this event possible.
As this was Sporting Heritage’s first time in Northern Ireland we started with an introduction to us an organisation by Workforce Development Lead, Fran Stovold, before opening the floor to our speakers. The slide decks from the day are available below:

This was followed by a behind the scenes tour of the archive led by Grace Gordon including a look at a number of sporting related items held in the PRONI collections.
