Community Hubs
DCMS are responsible for identifying and submitting the UK nominations for UNESCO’s Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This process includes supporting communities, experts, and cultural practitioners in documenting and preparing their nomination dossiers.
Through a collaboration with partner organisations and Community Hubs, DCMS is working to build the UK’s submission to the inventory over the next six months.
What are Community Hubs and what will they do?
Community Hubs have been created to provide a more localised and thematic level of support on behalf of DCMS as they develop the UK’s submission. The hubs will help all those who want to submit an application to become part of the inventory.
We’re delighted to announce that Sporting Heritage CIC have been selected as one of the Community Hubs working with the DCMS. The other Hubs are (contact details to follow):
