Sporting Heritage were joined by Digital Producer, David Mansall for this practical workshop and webinar covering foundation skills in video editing. The session explains the rationale for using video to tell stories, as well as exploring some beginner friendly tools for creating your first videos.
David also provides a simple introduction to video editing software in the attached ‘Openshot Video Editor’ tutorial, which he uses in the webinar. Other software is available, but the principal techniques described are common to all.
The video guides are suitable for all those thinking about sharing their sporting heritage collections online and are looking to improve their digital skills. We look forward to seeing the results!
Powerpoint slides featured in the webinar are attached separately below.
