Introducing the Sporting Heritage Champions Network
Julia Lee talks to Heritage Champions from the sports of Judo, Netball, Keep-Fit and Stoolball

In this podcast, Julia Lee from the ‘Disability and Women’s Sports’ project team, is joined by several members of our Sporting Heritage Champions Network. This is the first of two episodes planned with representatives from the group, and on this occasion, we were joined by:

  • Judo – Ross Taylor
  • Stoolball – Anita Broad
  • Keep Fit – Gilda Chambers
  • Netball – Joan Mills

The contributors explain how being part of the bi-monthly Champions Network is helping them organise their respective sports’ heritages, as well how they learn from each other and help each other unpick knotty issues, despite their sports – on the surface at least – having little in common.
