A Specialist Panel for Sporting Heritage in Wales

The specialist panel draws together a range of experts and specialists from across the sporting heritage, sport, culture, heritage, and diversity sphere in Wales. The panel members have contributed to the development of group membership to ensure diversity and relevant representation and the development of the framework’s key aims and objectives. The aims of the panel are therefore to:

• Draw together specialists in the field of sporting heritage which inform the direction of travel for sporting heritage in Wales.
• Work together through this panel in support of the sharing of knowledge and information to inform the creation of a practical National Framework for Sporting Heritage in Wales by end April 2021.

It is the intention that the panel will continue to oversee the delivery of the framework going forward with a boarder network developed for all those with an interest in or collections of sporting heritage in Wales.
