Meet the Team!

Project Team
Sporting Heritage CIC

Our project team is working to deliver the aims and objectives over the coming years. Led by our Director, Dr Justine Reilly, our project team brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the sector:

Scoping Team – Julia Lee and Brigid Power

Julia and Brigid bring expertise from across sport and heritage and are working to scope the collections associated with women’s sport, disability sport, and sport in general across the UK. Focusing on smaller and medium sized governing bodies of sport and sports clubs themselves, Julia and Brigid’s work will be vital in understanding which collections exist, where, and their current needs.

Resilience Lead – Katie Cavanagh

Katie has expertise in collections care and management and is a sporting heritage specialist. Katie is developing a digital tool-kit, e-learning resource, and associated workshops which will support those working with collections to better understand how to collect, protect and share their sporting heritage.

Web Team – CommunitySites

With a wealth of experience and expertise delivering exciting and engaging websites and e-learning provision, CommunitySites are working across our project teams to ensure that our web presence is the best it can be!

Communications Lead – Kevin Reilly
