We have a number of exciting opportunities to join the Sporting Heritage team to support us to deliver the Sporting Heritage of Disability and Women’s Sport, funded by Sport England.
1. Scoping Sporting Heritage
This activity will work with small to medium sized NGBS to better understand the collections they hold themselves, and to reach out to clubs and linked organisations which hold sporting heritage across these sports. The scoping programme is fundamental to the understanding of the number, type and condition of these collections, and the springboard for establishing a network of Heritage Ambassadors within NGBS and sports clubs, and providing them with the relevant support, advice and guidance to better look after, protect, and share their collections.
2. Digital Programme
The digital activity will be a cornerstone of the project. It will allow us to develop online advice and guidance, searchable database, tool-kit, and e-training modules which share, celebrate and support those working with sporting heritage and the collections they hold.
Please find the briefs which provide full details on these roles for download below. For an informal conversation about the roles, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
