In 2018, the national Sporting Heritage conference was held at the Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool.  With a focus on the relevance of sporting heritage, the conference investigated and discussed the opportunities and threats facing sporting collections and those who work with them, to deliver against a range of agendas including education, health and well-being, sports participation, community engagement, and academic research.

To illustrate some of the key points discussed at conference, Russell Todd recorded a selection of podcasts for us. You can listen to these on our Sporting Heritage SoundCloud page.

The presentations from the conference can be found here.
