Sporting Heritage Response to the Current Covid-19 Situation

In line with many other cultural organisations, Sporting Heritage has assessed the risks to the organisation, our staff and clients. As a result, we have adopted a digital approach to all of our activity for the foreseeable future. This means, we have unfortunately, had to postpone a number of upcoming events including the Sporting Heritage and the Armed Forces Showcase, the inaugural meeting of an Expert Panel for Sporting Heritage in Wales, and our networking meeting for the national museums of sport. All of these events will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity and will not prevent our usual delivery.

We have also taken the decision to change our annual conference; originally planned for Stirling in October this year, to a two day virtual Summit. We look forward to being joined by you all on 22nd and 23rd Oct.

Sporting heritage is primarily a digital organisation and as such we are well placed to deal with the challenges, which may present over the coming weeks and months. Please keep an eye on our social media feeds and we’ll update you as soon as possible.
